BEHIND THE MUSIC

Sam Wimer was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. His first experience as a musician was taking up the saxophone at the age of 9 playing in Concert, Jazz, and Marching band. Sam continued his saxophone playing on into his college education at Slippery Rock University, where he would also join multiple bands playing live venues and recording music. As he fell in love with the art of recording, Sam knew his best option would be to commit to his dream! He then moved to Nashville, TN, and graduated from The Blackbird Academy in 2021. 

 

Upon graduating, Sam released his self-produced EP “Fractals.” On October 5th of 2021. Sam continues to write and record music, and cannot wait to keep sharing his ideas with the world!

Sam is a Professional Mixing Engineer working at Sunset Place Studios in Pittsburgh, PA.
